Por ejemplo, cuando al buscar una ruta dentro de la ciudad no solo interesa el tiempo, sino que la distancia, los peajes y las emisiones de contaminantes. Un aspecto importante, recalca el profesor, es que las soluciones obtenidas, a pesar de ser un subconjunto, son diversas. Esto permite entregar un pu\u00f1ado de soluciones \u00fatiles a un usuario r\u00e1pidamente, cosa que antes de este trabajo, no pod\u00edamos hacer.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u201c<\/strong><strong><em>Creo que es importante que nuestros estudiantes sepan que en el Departamento de Ciencia de la Computaci\u00f3n se hace investigaci\u00f3n de punta, que comenzamos el a\u00f1o con un premio en Inteligencia Artificial y que este es un espacio que brinda todas las herramientas y conocimientos para que ellos tambi\u00e9n lo hagan. Este es un excelente lugar para hacer investigaci\u00f3n y, a su vez, es una demostraci\u00f3n de que la ciencia y la matem\u00e1tica est\u00e1 en todo lo que hacemos y nos ayudan a resolver problemas comunes de la vida<\/em><\/strong><strong>\u201d.
