En vez de reemplazar el uso de cad\u00e1veres o recursos tradicionales, esta herramienta se propone complementarlos, permitiendo a estudiantes de Medicina explorar modelos anat\u00f3micos en 3D, interactuar con ellos, autoevaluarse y desarrollar habilidades clave como la autorregulaci\u00f3n y la reflexi\u00f3n sobre sus propios aprendizajes<\/em>&#8220;. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n combin\u00f3 desarrollos de software, trabajo interdisciplinario con anatomistas y profesionales de la educaci\u00f3n, y estudios experimentales con estudiantes de medicina en la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile. En una primera etapa, se integr\u00f3 una experiencia VR en un laboratorio tradicional de disecci\u00f3n. Luego, se entregaron visores VR a estudiantes de primer a\u00f1o para que usaran la plataforma durante un semestre completo, permitiendo analizar su impacto en h\u00e1bitos de estudio y estrategias metacognitivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los resultados fueron prometedores: los modelos en 3D y las pr\u00e1cticas virtuales ayudaron a los estudiantes a comprender estructuras complejas, identificar vac\u00edos en su aprendizaje, y ajustar sus m\u00e9todos de estudio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este trabajo, que ya ha dado lugar a publicaciones cient\u00edficas internacionales como Clinical Anatomy (<a href=\"https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/39245875\/\">https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/39245875\/<\/a>), plantea una visi\u00f3n futura donde la educaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica se apoya en tecnolog\u00edas inmersivas, inteligencia artificial y entornos colaborativos virtuales. En vez de reemplazar el uso de cad\u00e1veres o recursos tradicionales, esta herramienta se propone complementarlos, permitiendo a estudiantes de Medicina explorar modelos anat\u00f3micos en 3D, interactuar con ellos, autoevaluarse y desarrollar habilidades clave como la autorregulaci\u00f3n y la reflexi\u00f3n sobre sus propios aprendizajes&#8220;. La investigaci\u00f3n combin\u00f3 desarrollos de software, trabajo interdisciplinario con anatomistas y profesionales de la educaci\u00f3n, y estudios experimentales con estudiantes de medicina en la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile. En una primera etapa, se integr\u00f3 una experiencia VR en un laboratorio tradicional de disecci\u00f3n. Luego, se entregaron visores VR a estudiantes de primer a\u00f1o para que usaran la plataforma durante un semestre completo, permitiendo analizar su impacto en h\u00e1bitos de estudio y estrategias metacognitivas. Los resultados fueron prometedores: los modelos en 3D y las pr\u00e1cticas virtuales ayudaron a los estudiantes a comprender estructuras complejas, identificar vac\u00edos en su aprendizaje, y ajustar sus m\u00e9todos de estudio. Este trabajo, que ya ha dado lugar a publicaciones cient\u00edficas internacionales como Clinical Anatomy (https:\/\/pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/39245875\/), plantea una visi\u00f3n futura donde la educaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica se apoya en tecnolog\u00edas inmersivas, inteligencia artificial y entornos colaborativos virtuales. Una muestra concreta de c\u00f3mo la ingenier\u00eda puede contribuir a resolver desaf\u00edos en el mundo de la salud.
